Your new role

In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to healthcare professionals across your assigned territory, engaging specialist stakeholders through scientific dialogue and tailored account management. You will drive the adoption of Novo Nordisk therapies, identify new business opportunities, and elevate standards of care for patients living with cardiometabolic diseases. Combining scientific expertise, analytical thinking, and strong relationship-building skills, you will deliver impactful commercial results while upholding our high ethical standards.

Day-to-day your tasks will include:

  • Developing and executing territory and account plans that support business objectives and align with brand and national strategies.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with endocrinologists, diabetologists, obesity specialists, cardiologists and hospital stakeholders to ensure effective promotion of Novo Nordisk solutions.
  • Identifying, accessing, and developing new strategic opportunities, including underutilised channels, and driving initiatives that expand market reach.
  • Leading commercial negotiations and closing agreements that contribute to regional and national sales targets.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional partners (e.g., MSLs, PCR, Field Sales Managers) to deliver coordinated, high-quality customer engagement.
  • Capturing and analysing customer insights, sales trends, and competitor activities, sharing learnings to support national planning and decision-making.
  • Representing Novo Nordisk with integrity, ensuring full compliance with regulations and internal policies while contributing to national projects and medical congress activities.

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for a high-performing and customer-centric professional who thrives in a fast-paced, scientific commercial environment. To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • An educational background in paramedical, medical, scientific or business/management fields.
  • Fluency in German and English, with Italian or French considered a strong advantage.
  • 3–5 years of proven pharma sales experience, ideally engaging specialists in hospital or clinical environments.
  • A track record in Key Account Management or strategic sales, with experience from FMCG, life sciences or healthcare viewed as a plus.
  • Strong selling capabilities and the ability to build lasting HCP relationships, combined with solid business and industry understanding to analyse markets, identify opportunities and adapt in a fast-changing environment.
  • A collaborative team mindset with personal leadership, capable of making things happen, innovating, and managing a diverse product portfolio with confidence.
  • Residence in the greater area of Bern and Solothurn is required.
