Controlling & People Cost Coordinator

Your new department

You will be part of the People & Organisation (P&O) team, working closely with Finance to ensure accurate and insightful management of Employee Related Costs.

This role plays a key part in supporting business decisions through data, participating in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis of people cost, in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Your new role

• Own the control of Employee Related Cost (ERC) budget, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Analyze and explain variances vs budget and forecast, translating data into clear insights for Finance
• Convert payroll-related concepts into financial and business impact analysis
• Oversee and validate payroll data provided by external vendors
• Develop and enhance analytical models and dashboards to support decision-making
• Act as a key partner to Finance and internal stakeholders to drive better business decisions

Must have requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, and a fluent English proficiency.

• Experience in controlling, FP&A, finance or cost analysis (3–5+ years)
• Strong understanding of people cost / payroll concepts in Mexico
• Proven experience managing and explaining budget vs actual / forecast variances
• Advanced Excel (modeling, complex formulas, data interpretation)
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders (mainly Finance stakeholders)
• Solid understanding of Mexican regulations (IMSS, ISR, Labor Law)

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau)
• Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems
• Experience in multinational environments
• Exposure to expatriate cost structures
