Your New Role

As an IT/OT Operation & Infrastructure Supporter, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing the IT infrastructure supporting our production environment. Working closely with colleagues across IT, Automation, and Production, you will help ensure high system availability, security, and compliance.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and optimizing IT platforms, networks, and infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues across operating systems, applications, and production IT environments.
  • Ensuring systems are maintained at an appropriate security level and aligned with internal requirements.
  • Supporting reviews of user access, configurations, IT security controls, and services.
  • Maintaining and improving documentation, procedures, and compliance records.
  • Supporting training activities for internal and external users.
  • Contributing to continuous improvements of IT operations and infrastructure.

 

The position requires physical presence in Kalundborg, Denmark. Professional proficiency in both Danish and English, spoken and written, is required.

 

Your New Department

You will join the IT Team supporting two manufacturing facilities in Kalundborg. The team is part of GMS API IT, a central IT organisation with approximately 170 colleagues across Denmark and the United States.

 

Our department delivers IT support for production operations with a strong focus on compliance, cybersecurity, and the daily operation of manufacturing IT/OT solutions. The team consists of 18 highly engaged colleagues responsible for operating and maintaining a diverse landscape of production systems, including the PCS/DCS platform SattLine, the Local Manufacturing Execution System (LMES), PLC-controlled production equipment, and the underlying infrastructure supporting these solutions.

 

The team includes both System Managers and IT Supporters and works in close partnership with our Automation and OT colleagues to ensure stable and efficient production.

 

Your Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you likely have:

  • A background as an IT Supporter, Computer Technician, IT Technologist, or similar.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Windows environments, Active Directory, virtualization technologies, and infrastructure support.
  • Knowledge of IT service management processes and tools such as ServiceNow or ITIL.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, networks, or production-related IT systems.
  • Strong documentation and compliance awareness.
  • Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from DKK 570.200 to 838.100 yearly, corresponding to the level of the position. Placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate's skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area, and relevant market benchmarks.
