Your new role
As Senior Manager, Obesity Marketing you will be responsible for leading one of the most significant product introductions in our obesity portfolio. This role is central to shaping and executing launch strategies, driving commercial success, and ensuring effective market readiness across regions and affiliates. Acting as a bridge between headquarters, local teams, and cross-functional partners, you will translate strategic objectives into impactful initiatives that maximise reach, adoption, and patient impact.
Main responsibilities will include:
- 
Develop and execute comprehensive launch plans for obesity products, ensuring alignment with global strategy and regional priorities 
- 
Conduct market research and analyse consumer and competitive trends to inform positioning and decision-making 
- 
Lead collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver launch excellence and commercial readiness across all markets 
- 
Manage planning, execution, and performance optimisation of launch activities outside the top three markets, tailoring approaches to local dynamics 
- 
Oversee the creation and adaptation of brand materials when HQ resources are unavailable, ensuring consistency and regulatory compliance 
- 
Organise and deliver internal training for regions and affiliates in line with HQ strategy, fostering knowledge sharing and launch preparedness 
- 
Participate in key industry events and launch activity plans to gather insights, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and refine strategic approaches 
This position offers a high level of strategic ownership and visibility in a rapidly evolving therapeutic area. While it does not include direct people management responsibilities, it provides an excellent platform for future leadership growth and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of a transformative obesity treatment.
This is an office-based position, to be located either in Copenhagen or Zurich. The final location will be confirmed during the recruitment process, taking both business needs and candidate fit into account.

You will be part of the Medical & Marketing team at Novo Nordisk. This department plays a critical role in driving innovative marketing strategies and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. The position is based in Zurich or Copenhagen, where you will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your skills & qualifications
We’re looking for a new Senior Manager for Obesity Marketing who demonstrates a deep understanding of marketing principles and strategies, with the ability to craft and execute impactful campaigns tailored to the obesity market. This includes aligning marketing efforts with broader organisational goals to drive business growth.
To succeed in this role, you:
- 
Hold an academic degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar 
- 
Have at least 8 years’ experience in marketing within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry 
- 
Have proven expertise in product management, market research, and promotional campaign development 
- 
Are skilled in interpreting market research and consumer behaviour trends to predict future needs and tailor marketing strategies accordingly 
- 
Are fully proficient in English, both written and spoken 
 
It will be seen as an advantage if you have gained experience within the obesity therapeutic area.
On a personal level, you are adept at crafting clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences, including internal stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and patients. This includes the ability to present complex information in an accessible manner. You thrive in a dynamic environment, quickly adapting to changes in market conditions, consumer needs, and organisational priorities while maintaining focus on long-term goals.
