Your new role 

As a Global Senior Medical Affairs Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the medical affairs strategy for a specific asset or indication within our Rare Disease portfolio. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Contributing to the global medical affairs strategy and tactical plan for the assigned asset/indication. 

  • Driving the execution and tracking of assigned deliverables within the medical tactical plan. 

  • Ensuring integration of the five Medical Affairs focus areas: evidence generation, insights for strategy, scientific dialogue, clinical care pathways, and organisational readiness. 

  • Providing clinical and scientific expertise to internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), International Professional Associations (IPAs), and other external stakeholders. 

  • Supporting clinical trial activities, including investigator relationship management and dissemination of results. 

  • Defining and executing publication strategies, including those related to Real-World Evidence (RWE). 

  • Delivering impactful medical education to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) through scientific meetings, symposia, and internal training sessions. 

  • Collaborating cross-functionally to align medical strategies with broader organisational goals.

Your skills & qualifications 

We are searching for highly collaborative and communicative candidates with excellent presentation and networking skills, who meet the following criteria:  

 

  • Advanced degree (MD, PhD, or equivalent) in a medical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences field.  

  • Fluency in English with a high level of written and verbal communication skills.  

  •  Minimum 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs or related roles within the pharmaceutical industry.  

  • Proven expertise in scientific communication strategy and stakeholder engagement, including collaboration with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and International Professional Associations (IPAs).  

  • Experience in clinical trial input, publication planning, and medical education initiatives. 

 

Moreover, as a professional you are known for your analytical rigour, cross‑functional collaboration, operational excellence, and the ability to navigate complexity with sound judgement, adaptability, and high ethical standards.
