This position is reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Operations, which is anchored within Global Medical Affairs.

 

The Position

As Global Senior Project Manager – Medical Operations, you will be responsible to drive our entry into new disease areas in close collaboration with other Global functions and our affiliates worldwide. A priority will be to establish our new disease area of rare renal disease, where you will ensure medical launch readiness,

We expect you to establish medical launch plans, applying our framework for launch preparations and establish and follow-up on key metrics, to ensure the right level of readiness. You will take on central responsibility for driving local effectiveness in relation to pre-launch preparedness.

In collaboration with the Medical Director and other stakeholders, you will support the strategy development, including KOL management, support effective medical education activities, multi-channel engagement, internal capability building and digital initiatives. In addition, we expect you to proactively identify needs for future strategic projects, prioritising these projects according to organisational capacity.  

 

Qualifications

We expect you to bring several years’ experience working in medical affairs in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally working in an agile environment in the Biotech or Rare Disease space. You describe yourself as curious about new innovative solutions, having gained experience driving digital initiatives and been involved in product launches.

You bring solid strategic experience and have been instrumental in establishing medical activities in a new disease area. You possess solid project management skills and are organised and proactive at finding pragmatic solutions. In addition, you are a confident communicator and presenter.
