The position

As a Primary Care Representative, you will build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), particularly general practitioners, through various communication channels (e.g., face-to-face interactions, remote detailing).

 

Your primary objective will be to promote Novo Nordisk’s products, with a focus on their cardiometabolic benefits and overall health advantages.

 

Your designated geographic region will include the cantons of Fribourg, Vaud, and Valais, within the French-speaking part of Switzerland.

 

Additionally, you will:

  • Meet strategic and tactical objectives, achieving sales targets in your assigned territory, and contributing to regional and national success
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional colleagues (e.g., First Line Sales Manager, Primary Care Customer Representative, Specialist Customer Representative - Metabolic/Cardiovascular, and MSLM) to develop aligned Field Force strategies and tactics, implementing effective action plans, including account and territory business plans.
  • Actively participate in internal meetings and training sessions, contributing to team knowledge and expertise.
  • Take the lead on regional initiatives and projects when assigned, driving business objectives forward.
  • Organize events and sponsorships in your territory in line with business objectives and approved budgets. Represent Novo Nordisk at regional, national, and international congresses/events, and share your expertise as a speaker or moderator when required.

 

Qualifications

 

We’re seeking a driven and results-oriented professional with the following qualifications:

•             A paramedical or scientific education, ideally paired with an SHQA Certificate. Commercial background is a strong advantage.

•             Proven sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a track record of exceeding targets

•             Established relationships and experience in cardiometabolic and cardiovascular fields (e.g., diabetes, obesity) will be highly valued

•             Sales experience in other industries is a plus, showing your ability to adapt across different markets

•             Fluency in English and French is essential, while German proficiency would be a valuable advantage
