We're seeking a dynamic Personal Assistant to support the SVP of our Rare Disease division—an opportunity to work at the intersection of leadership, innovation, and purpose.

 

The Position

 

We are seeking a highly organized and resourceful Personal Assistant to support the Senior Vice President (SVP) of our Rare Disease division. This is a dynamic and multifaceted role that goes beyond traditional executive support—offering the opportunity to lead within the admin team, drive cross-functional collaboration, and contribute meaningfully to organisational initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

 

·         Provide comprehensive executive support to the SVP, including calendar management, meeting preparation, travel coordination, and proactive task follow-up

·         Coordinate the annual planning wheel and act as a key liaison between the SVP office, HR, Communications, and internal stakeholders

·         Foster a strong, collaborative Rare Disease admin team by sharing best practices, mentoring peers, and supporting workload balancing

·         Lead and contribute to cross-functional initiatives and networks, including the Zurich-based CT group and organisational events

·         Serve as the main point of contact for Rare Disease admin collaboration with Global Business Services, promoting alignment and innovation across regions

 

 

Qualifications

 

·         Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent administrative education, combined with 5 + years of experience supporting C-level executives, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.

·         Strong IT proficiency and ability to quickly adapt to new digital tools and systems

 

·         Excellent organisational understanding and planning skills, with the ability to manage complex schedules and priorities

·         Fluent in English, both written and spoken; able to communicate clearly across all levels of the organisation

·         Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and networking skills, especially in international and intercultural settings

·         High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information

·         Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to remain efficient and composed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
