About the company

Novo Nordisk is a global healthcare company, founded in 1923 and headquartered just outside Copenhagen, Denmark. Our purpose is to drive change to defeat diabetes and other serious chronic diseases such as obesity, and rare blood and rare endocrine diseases. We do so by pioneering scientific breakthroughs, expanding access to our medicines, and working to prevent and ultimately cure the diseases we treat. We employ more than 44,000 people in 80 offices around the world, and market our products in 170 countries.

About the department

The Swiss affiliate has over 70 employees and belongs to Region North-West Europe. Located at Zürich office, this role is part of our Finance and Operations (F&O) organisation and is reporting to the Director F&O.

The position

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the timely planning and execution of projects within the Swiss affiliate, with focus towards our commercial, financial, social or environmental responsibility. The projects are initiated by the GM and the Leadership Team representing the various functions. The projects will vary in scope, complexity, and impact, therefore understanding of the broader organisational setup and internal processes will be critical.

To set the Swiss affiliate up for future success, in addition to supporting projects, you will act as a sparring partner to the various stakeholders, providing analysis on strategic requirements for the future projects and evaluating business development opportunities, beyond the existing therapeutic areas.

The project manager will act as a change agent and ensure incremental innovation within their own projects and workstreams. The ability to adapt to ongoing changes, integrate short notice developments and find solutions in unexpected problems, whilst ensuring to consider compliance and quality requirements, is expected of the project manager.
