The position

As our Procurement Manager you will act as a strategic partner to stakeholders and lead procurement activities to ensure value, quality, and compliance, as well as playing a key role in solidifying the procurement policies and mindset across the affiliates. You will oversee indirect sourcing, and supplier management, while promoting innovation and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead negotiations and secure optimal supplier agreements
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Drive supplier relationships with a focus on diversity and innovation
  • Take the lead in driving the implementation of procurement strategy, based on budget and spend analysis
  • Effectively communicate the value of procurement to stakeholders and cross-affiliate projects to maximize impact and efficiency
  • Represent the Swiss affiliate in the regional Centre-of-Excellence

Qualifications

We are looking for a talent of strong functional and people skills, including an ability to building relationships and trust, and to obtain commitment from both internal and external stakeholders across cultures and functions. We would like to hear from a candidate who can bring the following to the table:

  • Master’s degree in business administration, Economics, Law, Supply Chain Management, or similar
  • A minimum of 5 years of procurement management experience
  • Experienced in driving tender and negotiation practices, with a proven track record of strong negotiation skills
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, with curiosity and interest in people leadership
  • Data analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on data insights
  • Professional written and oral English skills with proficiency in German or French
