Your new role

As Medical Advisor for Future Assets you will be responsible for the planning and execution of the local medical strategy for the development of new therapy areas and the pre-launch of new assets. A key focus will also be on establishing scientific relationships with key stakeholders within these new therapy areas.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Development of medical strategies for new disease therapy areas tailored to the Swiss market
  • Establishment of productive relationships with key customers and relevant institutions to achieve competitive advantage and market leadership within new target groups
  • Implementation of training and educational activities for HCP’s and Novo Nordisk staff
  • Successful execution of specific medical projects
  • Provision of scientific input for the creation and implementation of the digital roadmap and related activities

 

This is an office-based position with expected travel across Switzerland to engage with Key Opinion Leaders, up to 20% of the time.

Your skills & qualifications

We’re looking for a new Medical Advisor who will drive empowerment and engagement with vision and purpose.

To succeed in this role, you:

  • Hold an academic degree in Life Sciences or Medicine, a PhD will be preferred
  • Have 3+ years' experience within Medical Affairs/Medical Advisory with expertise in new product launches
  • Have worked in the pharmaceutical industry for at least a few years
  • Are fully proficient in English and German, while French proficiency will be considered as an advantage
  • Preferably have knowledge within one or more of the following therapeutic areas: cardiology, immunology, neurology, metabolic

On a personal level, you possess excellent stakeholder management skills and can collaborate seamlessly with individuals both inside and outside the company. You can drive quality decisions while enabling our strategy and maintaining focus on patients and customers.
