Your new role

As Medical Advisor Cardiometabolic, you'll be at the intersection of science, strategy, and stakeholder engagement. This is where medical expertise meets strategic execution – you'll develop and implement medical affairs activities that support our organizational objectives in the cardiometabolic space, working with agility and flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing medical strategies within cardiometabolic therapy areas, leading scientific initiatives and new projects for internal and external stakeholders
  • Planning and delivering Medical Affairs activities including Advisory Board meetings, medical education events, and scientific symposia
  • Identifying and developing new platforms for engaging with target healthcare professional groups across Switzerland
  • Creating and disseminating scientific communications, publications, and presentations for field-based scientific discussions
  • Providing scientific input for digital roadmaps and activities, and developing medical education programs for stakeholders
  • Collaborating closely with marketing teams through dedicated working groups (customer squads, launch teams, regional medical teams)
  • Reviewing and approving promotional materials to ensure compliance with local requirements and legislation
  • Responding to Medical Information requests and proactively enhancing internal scientific knowledge within the medical team

 

Your new department

Within the Swiss Affiliate, you'll join the Medical Cardiometabolic team, part of our Medical Affairs Unit. This dynamic team of several medical professionals works at the forefront of bringing innovative cardiometabolic treatments to Swiss patients. The team values proactive thinking, genuine curiosity about medical innovation, and the ability to operate independently while contributing to collective success.

 

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for a medical professional with strategic acumen and the ability to take ownership of complex initiatives.

You'll bring:

  • University degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Natural Sciences or related fields
  • First years of experience in medical affairs roles (or related field) in Switzerland or similar markets – you understand the Swiss healthcare landscape
  • Proven ability to develop and implement medical affairs strategies that support organizational objectives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both German and English (required) – you can engage credibly with diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated innovativeness and creativity in medical affairs or related fields, with strong science and business acumen
  • Collaborative mindset combined with assertiveness when required – you know when to build consensus and when to drive decisions
  • Proactive approach and high level of ownership – you don't wait for direction but take initiative to deliver measurable outcomes

Salary:  For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from CHF 142.680 to CHF 192.630 corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

 

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level,  location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
