Shape the future of patient access in Switzerland – combining strategic innovation with hands-on market access leadership across one of the most dynamic healthcare systems in Europe.

Your new role
This is a unique opportunity where you will both lead the exploration of future access solutions and maintain responsibility for Novo Nordisk's diabetes portfolio in Switzerland. You will identify and advance innovative access approaches, strategic partnerships and new healthcare delivery models, while driving pricing, reimbursement and access activities for a critical therapy area.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and driving strategic partnerships with key healthcare stakeholders to identify and implement innovative patient access solutions in Switzerland
  • Exploring and evaluating alternative access, funding and collaboration models that complement traditional reimbursement pathways and support sustainable patient access
  • Collaborating with Business Development and cross-functional colleagues to assess opportunities related to new healthcare delivery models, strategic partnerships and emerging healthcare channels
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with health authorities, payers, healthcare providers and other key stakeholders to advance access objectives
  • Monitoring healthcare policy developments, market trends and stakeholder needs to anticipate changes in the access environment and identify opportunities for innovation
  • Developing and implementing market access strategies for Novo Nordisk's diabetes portfolio, including leading pricing and reimbursement submissions to the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH)
  • Providing strategic market access expertise to cross-functional teams and contributing to lifecycle management activities across the portfolio

Your new department

You will join a dedicated Market Access team that sits at the heart of how patients benefit from Novo Nordisk's growing portfolio. The team works at the intersection of healthcare policy, health economics and commercial strategy – collaborating closely with Medical, Commercial, Public Affairs and Business Development as well as regional and global teams. You will be part of an environment that values entrepreneurial thinking and where your strategic choices have a direct and measurable impact on patient outcomes.

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for someone who combines strong market access expertise with an entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine passion for shaping innovative access solutions. To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Public Health, Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences or a related discipline
  • 3–5 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare sector, management consulting, business development, market access, strategic partnerships or a related field
  • A strong understanding of the Swiss healthcare system, reimbursement landscape and key healthcare stakeholders, with demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships across the ecosystem
  • Experience in the development, evaluation or implementation of innovative access, funding, contracting or partnership models is highly desirable; experience within diabetes, obesity or chronic disease management is an advantage
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers across diverse stakeholder groups
  • An entrepreneurial and strategic mindset with strong analytical and commercial acumen – a self-starter who can independently drive initiatives from concept through execution
  • Fluency in German and English; French or Italian would be an advantage
