Your new role

In this pivotal role, you will shape the commercial success of Novo Nordisk’s diabetes portfolio by driving strategic brand growth across International Operations (IO) markets. You will define and monitor performance metrics, ensure seamless market execution, and orchestrate regional alignment for campaigns and congresses. With a focus on world-class launch readiness and high-impact strategic initiatives, you will partner with cross-functional and regional teams to translate insights into bold actions that accelerate brand impact and support Novo Nordisk’s mission to improve lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and oversee brand performance KPIs, identify gaps, and drive mitigation strategies with regional teams.
  • Ensure flawless market execution of diabetes marketing plans and tactics.
  • Align regional and affiliate inputs for campaigns, tactical plans, and congresses.
  • Develop and lead launch readiness frameworks for IO markets, including new indications.
  • Drive IO-wide strategic initiatives to accelerate brand growth, such as launch market prioritisation and volume allocations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to optimise product development, pricing, and market strategies.
  • Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive activity to identify opportunities.

 

Your new department

As a key driver of Novo Nordisk’s future growth, International Operations (IO) is the largest operational unit in Novo Nordisk and covers more than 190 countries and 95% of the world’s population. Around 430 million people are living with diabetes in these countries and an estimated 570 million live with obesity. We serve 25 million people each day living with chronic diseases. Novo Nordisk International Operations, Strategic Operations, is head quartered in Zürich, Switzerland.

Your skills & qualifications

We are seeking a seasoned marketing professional with a strong strategic vision, deep expertise in brand development, and a proven ability to deliver impactful results in complex, cross-functional environments. The ideal candidate will combine analytical acumen with creative thinking, leveraging market insights to shape bold strategies and drive world-class product launches.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience, ideally in roles spanning affiliate, consolidation, or global levels.
  • Proven track record in brand strategy, market analysis, and successful product launches.
  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong blend of analytical insight, innovative thinking, and financial acumen.
