The Position
We are seeking our next Training Partner who has a passion for training and wants an impactful career helping build our teams who make life-saving medicine! This position will support the implementation and application of our training programs and standards within a pharmaceutical GMP manufacturing environment. Assisting with the design, delivery, and evaluation of training content across site functional areas. Support training and development for biological based manufacturing areas (cell culture/purification/etc.) while adhering to relevant GMP, FDA, and company standards. Work closely with managers and leaders to understand training needs specific to their areas, while also being able to influence and 'push back' when necessary. Will be tasked with tailoring custom training plans specific to individuals, mainly at technician level, depending on their area/focus. This role will require public speaking in group settings, and they will need to perform facilitation of group events. We are seeking someone who shares our continuous improvement mindset and always seeking ways to improve our training programs and work more efficiently, within regulatory and company requirements. This role will occasionally require presence in our cleanroom sterile areas (see essential functions for requirements).
This is an onsite based role Monday-Friday at our West Lebanon, NH bio-production facility.
Relationships
Reports to: Associate Director, Human Resources
Essential Functions
- Support the execution of training initiatives for our NNUSBPI site based on corporate training strategy and Training for Competence (TfC)
- Support standardization, development and execution of training initiatives
- Set priorities based on training needs, ensuring training milestones are met by reviewing records and identifying gaps
- Lead or participate in training development workshops, aligning with business lines to resolve key issues effectively
- Provide guidance on Global corporate and business unit training standards, enhancing communication with the line of business
- Foster a network of local training supporters to enable knowledge sharing and improvement of the training system
- Support, train and coach trainers to ensure they provide effective support for their departments while sustaining a strong training system
- Apply training principles to evaluate effectiveness, conduct needs analyses, and assess suitable training methods
- Work with areas to improve training activities and methods through continuous improvement
- Participate in internal audits as needed
- Provide and facilitate courses in training and operational training tools (i.e. Deliver Great Training, Training Outline Author, Job Instructions)
- Perform process confirmation and assessments on use of training system in departments
- Contribute to an environment where Best Practice is shared across the site and API
- Presence in the cleanroom areas may require wearing: hairnet, beard cover, frocks/coveralls, shoe covers, snood, face mask, sterile gloves, and to follow GMP processes at all times. Examples of prohibited materials in cleanroom areas may include (but are not limited to): food/drink/gum, jewelry, cosmetics, nail acrylics, perfume/cologne, and personal cell phones
- Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations and industry codes
- Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others
Qualifications
- Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, Master’s preferred
- Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant training experience, in a GMP environment preferred
- Experience in pharmaceutical production and working with standards
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and leading engagement training sessions and workshops preferred • Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to support employee development and organizational goals preferred
- Experience using ISOtrain or other Learning Management Systems preferred
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of compliance requirements to training
- Demonstrated success in networking and developing relationships
- Proven ability to collaborate across boundaries and inspire and motivate colleagues
- General understanding of cLEAN methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives preferred
- Ability to read, write & understand complicated products, equipment & OEM documentation & standard operating procedures with great attention to detail preferred
Physical Requirements
0-10% overnight travel required. While performing this job employee work involves sitting most of the time with walking and standing required only occasionally. This position may lift up to 10 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. The ability to speak, listen, and understand verbal and written communication. Must be able to meet requirements for entry to shop floor.
