Take a key role in shaping people strategy across one of Novo Nordisk's most dynamic and diverse business areas – where your ability to connect business priorities with organisational impact will be felt across markets, functions, and thousands of colleagues.
Your new role
As Senior Strategic HR Projects & HRBP Manager for Business Area East, you will partner closely with the Business Area East leadership team, combining senior HR Business Partnering responsibilities with ownership of selected cross-functional strategic HR projects. You will work across both strategy and execution, helping turn business and organisational priorities into practical interventions and sustainable outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders on people, organisation, leadership, and capability topics – translating business strategy into clear people priorities and actions
- Leading selected strategic HR projects and initiatives on behalf of the Business Area East leadership, from diagnosing needs and designing interventions through execution, implementation and change adoption, with accountability for the overall impact and outcomes.
- Supporting and delivering key organisational and talent processes, including organisational development, workforce planning, succession planning, talent development and change management, combining strategic input with day-to-day execution and follow-through.
- Coaching and supporting leaders on leadership effectiveness, team development, employee engagement and building high-performing, inclusive teams, while also providing practical day-to-day HR partnership as needed.
- Managing and executing core employee lifecycle activities and people processes, while also driving engagement, culture, belonging and employee experience initiatives. This includes both larger cross-functional initiatives and the hands-on operational work required to ensure high-quality delivery and a strong employee and leader experience.
- Enabling the growth of the BA East P&O community by facilitating collaboration, knowledge sharing, capability development, and creating the conditions for a strong, connected and effective P&O network.
Your new department
As part of Business Area East, you will be based in Warsaw, Poland and will join the Business Area Office team, supporting an organisation spanning 22 countries across Eastern Europe and more than 900 colleagues working every day to serve patients. Business Area East continues to be an important growth driver for Novo Nordisk, with a strong ambition to outperform the competition and improve health at scale.
Within Business Area East, you will be part of the People & Organisation team supporting both the Business Area Office and our Affiliates. You will work closely with leaders and P&O colleagues across the region to strengthen organisational readiness, build relevant capability and ensure that strategic people initiatives translate into meaningful and sustainable business impact.
The role offers a high degree of independence and visibility and requires someone who is equally comfortable shaping the agenda, managing complex projects and taking care of the practical work needed to move things forward.

- Strong experience in areas such as organisational development, talent management, leadership development, workforce planning and change management
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including the ability to work effectively without formal authority.
- A collaborative, solution-oriented and pragmatic mindset, combined with resilience, sound judgement and a strong sense of ownership.
