If your answer is YES to all these questions, we have an exciting job opportunity for you as Key Account Manager in our Business Unit Obesity in West Austria.  The position is home office based and will report to our Field Sales Manager Obesity at Novo Nordisk Austria.

The Obesity Business Unit is accountable for marketing and sales of products of our industry-leading obesity portfolio.

About the position
As Key Account Manager you will take responsibility for the economic success of the company in the territory in accordance with the sales and marketing strategy.

Furthermore, you will

 

  • be responsible for building sales of the Western field sales territory in Austria to ensure the success of Novo Nordisk.
  • independently plan, execute and evaluate your customer visits.
  • inform customers about our products and convey the product messages.
  • develop strong and sustainable networks of relevant customers and stakeholders.

 

Your qualifications

  • You have several years of practical experience in field of Sales with excellent product knowledge.
  • Ideally you have successfully passed pharmaceutical sales representative examination (Pharmareferentenprüfung) and completed studies of pharmacy, human medicine or similar.
  • You have strong market and customer understanding, as well as good know-how of business processes and competitive dynamics in a changing environment.
  • You are characterized by your high motivation, positive charisma, and very strong result-driven skills.
  • You also convince through your very good communication, contact skills and team orientation.
  • You show high affinity for IT programmes, systems and tools (i.e. CRM tools).
  • You have excellent German and English language skills in both written and spoken.
  • You obtain a valid driver’s licence (class B) and show high willingness to business travel.

 

We offer a competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement, reflecting your competencies and experience, starting at EUR 55.000 annual gross salary. In addition, we offer a yearly Sales incentive bonus and a voluntary company pension plan. Further to some other fringe benefits, we offer a company car (private use possible), laptop, iPhone and iPad for “working on the road”.
