- Hands-on proficiency with clinical trial systems such as EDC, CTMS and eTMF.
- Strong organisational, time and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple sites and priorities while keeping a high attention to detail.
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills, including spotting and mitigating risks before they become issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment, with integrity and a clear focus on quality and patient safety.
- Openness to better ways of working, including new technologies and digital tools.
- The ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
- Practical experience applying Risk-Based Quality Management (RBQM) principles in study conduct.
What you’ll do
You will own the day-to-day oversight of your assigned clinical trial sites, making sure every trial runs safely, compliantly and on schedule. You will:
- Oversee and manage your sites through on-site and remote monitoring visits, ensuring compliance with protocols, ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements.
- Apply Risk-Based Quality Management (RBQM) principles to identify, assess and mitigate risks proactively throughout study conduct.
- Track site performance, recruitment, retention and data collection, acting quickly to keep timelines and quality objectives on track.
- Protect patient safety and data integrity by resolving discrepancies, managing adverse events and keeping sites inspection-ready.
- Train and support site staff on study protocols, operational procedures, systems and compliance requirements.
- Represent Novo at site level, building trusted relationships with investigators and site teams that help trials run efficiently.
Who you’ll work with
You will join the Clinical Development Centre (CDC) Canada, where colleagues work across markets to serve people around the world and help improve health at scale.
Your closest partners will be the investigators and site staff at your assigned trial sites. Internally, you will work with cross-functional colleagues who support clinical trial execution. These relationships keep information flowing, issues resolved quickly and studies moving with clarity and pace.
What you can expect here
