The Position
As a Clinical Trial Feasibility Manager, you will:
- Partner with strategic clinics to assess the viability of conducting clinical trials.
- Lead feasibility locally via digitalisation and interaction with site staff and relevant start-up functions in accordance with central patient allocation request
- Lead the process of analysis of Trial portfolio review in alignment with all the local stakeholders and in accordance with the agreed strategy
- Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies related to feasibility
- Assess Initial trial feasibility in line with direction from TA Heads and based on current and past performance. Supports the country allocation process as requested
- Obtain internal feedback and data to support feasibility assessments on site/country levels
- Build and maintain sound knowledge of local patient treatment pathways, competitor trials and the clinical research environment for relevant TAs
- Analyse information coming from different channels of R&D area (Trial portfolio review, country allocation overview, R&D Website as examples). Provide input in collaboration with TA Heads/CMMs/Medical and other trial start-up roles, evaluate the regulatory landscape, patient pathways & population, logistical considerations, and conduct analysis of competitor trials
- Perform local feasibility and country allocation in accordance with the agreed strategy.
- Prepare comprehensive feasibility reports summarizing the findings of the site feasibility assessments and present these to relevant to key stakeholders, providing data driven recommendations for the final site selection
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of feasibility processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct research to determine site suitability and patient eligibility.
- Identify and evaluate potential clinical trial sites.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyse information to support feasibility assessments and trial strategy.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
Need to have:
- A bachelor’s degree in a Life Sciences field.
- A minimum of 6 years of proven experience in clinical trials.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical trial feasibility assessments.
- Prior experience working within the Canadian clinical research environment.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset and Innovative approach
Nice to have:
- A post-graduate qualification in Research.
- A background in science.
