The position
- Ensure that all Duratouch assembly machines and packaging machines project phase and ramp up phase can be running smoothly within the set downtime target. It can be followed up by the daily board meeting.
- Managing employees working in the shift, including individual development plans, performance, salary discussions and Annual Performance evaluation and follow up.
- Take the responsibility to decrease the waste in the production. It is realized /controlled by continually decreasing the scrap rate within the set target. It can be followed up by the daily board meeting.
- Ensure shift technical support team to take part in the activities regarding the lean manufacturing, e.g. Kaizen/KATA.
- Support to identify the competence level for shift technical support team.
- Develop and implement training programs for shift technical support team to ensure best in technical support to production.
- Ensure the preventive maintenance is conducted as the periodic setup.
- Ensure taking action where there is any finding during the maintenance process confirmation conducted by senior maintenance engineers.
- Ensure shift technical support team to be complying with the GMP requirements and relevant SOPs.
- Take the responsibility of safety when shift technical support team is working during the day/night shift.
Technical support, ensure the stability of the production lines and equipment for the Area
- Increase the stability of the equipment performance and reduce variations
- Identify best practices for work processes and make sure they are anchored in the relevant documents.
- Responsible for the decrease of waste and scrap in the production.
- Ensure creation of preventive maintenance. Implement and supervise preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operate reliably.
- Continuous improvement of corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance base on the data from technical stops and Dash board.
- Provide and support related technical support, not limited to automation, maintenance. including implementing in SPS standard and ensure data-driven problem solving.
- Handle the management of spare parts, including usage, stock management, etc.
- Perform validation test of machines. Ensure the quality and compliance of validation document.
Drive and Lead automation and robotics solutions in the area aiming for high production output and productivity
- Develop and maintain the technical competence and resources to ensure the implementation of automation and robotic solutions in production helping to improve productivity
- Learn and catch up the development of automation and robots in the industry of the world and introduce them into our own process and equipment
- Train and develop our own engineers to be the expert of designing, programming automatic and robotic solutions
Ensure activities in the team comply with the requirements of quality and EHS.
- Assure that all activities in the area comply with cGMP, ISO, EU, Chinese regulations and NN quality requirement.
- Develop quality mindset related to maintenance activities, especially on data integrity
- Ensure that Novo Nordisk policies regarding environment and working safety and other relevant law requirements are met.
- Perform process confirmation to assure inspection readiness, continuous improvement and that maintenance standards are followed and improved.
Managing employees who working in shift maintenance team, including IDP, performance evaluation, etc.
- Target setting and follow up on daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
- Manage the area according to Novo Nordisk Way.
- Ensure the team is highly motivated, engaged and skilled.
- Conduct 1 to 1 meeting to follow up with 3P, performance, IDP and so on.
- Carry though OurVoice, organize team to make impact plans and follow up on actions.
Develop and implement training programs for shift Engineers and Technicians to ensure best support in technique.
- Ensure education, training and motivation of staff and through this best possible utilization of the resources.
- Identify the competence gap so as to look for the opportunity to improve.
- Ensure that all employees are adequately trained to perform their job in relation to quality and safety requirement.
- Ensure that team members have the right competences in order to ensure a high technical skills and compliance level.
- Ensure “Knowledge exchange” across team, department or project.
- Coach and develop employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above level in mechanical engineering, automation engineering or other relevant engineering background
- On-going supplementary training on relevant areas like management, LEAN and GMP
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Knowledge of GMP/ISO 9001/ISO 13485 regulations and standards
- 5+ years of relevant business experience in automation and mechanical areas
- Experience in using Lean manufacturing, or other similar techniques
- Experience from an international company
- Capability to drive and implement new technology, etc. MI and MT in the team
