The position

  • To ensure that PS Site Tianjin are able to supply all durable devices with the best combination of high quality, reliability and low cost, in accordance with the internal/external requirements.
  • To drive and maintain the process stability in durable devices and drive for continuous improvement upon stability.
  • To ensure that projects are executed meeting the defined time, the specified quality level and within budget.
  • Ensuring quality deliveries to contribute to high OEE, low scrap, minimal sorting and rework.
  • Ensure all processes are in validated condition externally and internally.
  • Drive to reduce all durable devices related deviations and ensure high quality change control.
  • Drive for fast ramping up of new production lines and making sure all the learning and sharing from ramping up taken into operation.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social sciences, law, business, engineering/ pharmaceutical or similar related to people management and leadership.
  • +10 years’ experience within technical purchasing, sourcing and or manufacturing in a medical GxP work environment.
  • 10 years experiences and knowledge within QA ISO 90001, ISO 13485 and / or work experience within a similar ISO standard work environment.
  • 10 years’ experience as line manager/project manager in a matrix and multinational manufacturing environment including working with outsourcing partnerships.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience living in a global environment and a natural ability to adapt to new surroundings quickly and effectively.
  • cLEAN® qualification and experiences.
  • Formal management training SMA or similar.
  • Role model and executer of the Novo Nordisk global leadership competencies at Manager action level and in relation to the competency “collaborate across boundaries” an international mindset is imperative. With special focus on the 3 PS ones: “Collaborate across boundaries”, “strive for quality” and "Strive for continuous and sustainable improvements”.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and preferably Chinese.

 

 

About IFP Site Tianjin

IFP Site Tianjin is a strategic manufacturing site of Novo Nordisk. It supplies to both global and domestic market with durable devices for insulin injection and finished products of insulin. IFP Site Tianjin locates in Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA). It covers an area of 128,000 square metres and employs more than 1300 employees.

The site was established in 1995, expanded in TEDA in 2002 for durable devices production. At the end of 2008, it was further expanded for insulin production.

IFP Site Tianjin has become the single durable devices supplier of Novo Nordisk and the biggest production site outside Denmark for insulin formulation and filling.
