STJ CoE Travel Team Manager

The position             

Develops and manages new and existing projects by recommending, monitoring or adjusting appropriate plant operating procedures to meet program requirements within the manufacturing facility. Key areas of responsibility:

• Direct manager for STJ Ramp-up travel team, response to FPM Engineering
• Part of setting the direction for the FPM Engineering Ramp-up Center of Excellence inspired by STJ
• Enable network across sites and share best practice between lines
• Part of recruiting the STJ travel team members and build up their competences
• -Set the direction for the STJ travel team group, be their spokesperson, one point of entry and have regular 1:1s and check in
• Lead team to create the ramp-up CoE cookbook
• Lead to setting up the PS Ramp-up portal
• Host and facilitate operational readiness & ramp-up STJ bootcamps
• Create overview of travel team progress and other see-tools; gather & share learnings
• Together with FPM Engineering create awareness and push for Operational Excellence through fast ramp-ups of assembly & packaging lines
• Build & maintain strong network relationship with key stakeholders at site
• Support with global see systems to monitor the benefit of Ramp up standard
• Create efficient link between COE and STJ FP operation, to facilitate up to date knowledge on operational readiness

Qualifications

• Master Degree in manufacturing engineering or similar education background  
• Education/training in LEAN is preferable.           
• Fluent in written and reading English.  
• Operational Readiness & Ramp up experience is preferred
• More than 5 years in Production
• Extensive experience as a Project Manager in a global environment
• Professional proficiency in English
• Experience with cLEAN® Supply System and Six Sigma
• Managerial skills:
• Clear in communication and direction
• Change management experience
• Manufacturing experience:
• Assembly & Packaging experience
• Mindset and behavior:
• Behave productive and respectful work.
• Able to influence stakeholders to reach consensus and resolve roadblocks
• Structured approach
