The position

  • Manage different complexity level of projects

Project complexity is determined by the guide and measured in relation to the following factors:

Project Stakeholders

Total Project Cost

Project Scope

Project Organisation, and the Organisation Impacted by the Project.

 

  • Key areas of responsibility:

 

Direct project execution

Create and develop the project plan

Monitor and control project work

Negotiate and manage project resources with LoB management during execution

Establish appropriate project governance with the project owner

Report project performance to relevant stakeholders

Perform integrated change control

Archive all key project data

Close and evaluate the project

  • Ad 1: Direct project execution:

Provide clear goals and purpose for the project and its team members to ensure effective use of time and resources, as well as to build employee motivation.

 

  • Ad 2: Create and develop the project plan:

Create effective and transparent systems, structures and processes to drive the project so that the project secures clarity and order by applying the appropriate amount of planning and organizing.

 

  • Ad 3: Monitor and control project work:

Follow-up to keep end-product within scope, quality, schedule and budget so that the project delivers the desired end-product.

  • Ad 4: Negotiate project resources with LoB management and manage these resources during project execution

Ensure that the right amount of resources is allocated to the project from both stakeholders and the project team

 

  • Ad 5: Establish the appropriate project governance together with the project owner

Create and lead the appropriate organisation (e.g. steering committee, reference group and project team) so that the project can be executed effectively and the outcome is sustained in the organisation.

 

  • Ad 6: Report project performance to the relevant stakeholders

  • Ad 7: Perform integrated change control on the project

Evaluate changes to the project scope, schedule or cost in a coordinated manner so that all project constrains are evaluated.

 

  • Ad 8: Archive all key project data

Enter the specific requirements for the project – e.g. minutes, memos and other relevant project data.

 

  • Ad 9: Close and evaluate the project

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor or master degree in science, engineering, finance, logistics and supply chain management, business administration or other relevant background
  • Education/training in GMP regulations, validation, LEAN and statistics
  • Over 10 years of project management experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry with cross-functional project management expertise.
  • Familiarity with clean room or aseptic processes is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, observational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure, by leading the project team in an un-authorized structure.
  • Experience working with regulatory authorities is preferable.
  • Strong individual contributor capable of managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Project.
  • Knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 regulated production environments, including validation and change procedures.
  • Advanced English skills; international experience is an asset.
