The position
Key areas of responsibility:
- Focus on IT system design and implementation to ensure high-stability and leading IT technology for continuously production.
- Take the first line of incident handling to ensure quick and efficient response with LoB.
- Standardize incident handling and issue solving process for efficient service delivery.
- Monitor and visualize the trend of delivery for IT systems, ensure continuous improvement through systematic problem-solving.
- Collaboration with LoB to proactively identify requirements and utilize resources to initiate improvement activities.
- Build and maintain super user network for IT systems through training, sharing and workshops locally and globally.
- Define clear IT system R&R, build, and maintain strong IT technical competency to meet business requirements.
- Improve production OEE through the application of new tech and digitalization in IT systems.
- Engage in global collaboration and sharing activities for best practice communication.
- Participate in projects in early phase to ensure IT system design and solution meet requirements of high availability and compliance.
- The system design service should focus on business pain points, optimize business processes, provide higher level of HoC, and ensure a high level of compliance.
- Manage the lifecycle risk of global and local systems to ensure high availability and compliance.
- Continuously identify optimization opportunities and initiate digital innovation improvement initiatives.
- Manage third-party vendors to ensure that they receive comprehensive training and qualifications before providing services.
- Collaborate with the global team to manage and roll-out global systems locally, including necessary activities such as deployment, upgrades, validation, and training.
- Other tasks as outlined in the department's role mapping or masterplan.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineer or other IT relevant
- SAP or MES relevant certification
- MCSE, PMP, GAMP5, ITIL certification
- 3 or more years of background in SAP and/or MES and/or ESC system development, maintenance and management.
- 2 or more years of experience of manufacture IT system deployment or support.
- 1 or more years of experience of computer system validation, IT compliance and system development life cycle.
- Good knowledge of IT service management including ITIL and COBIT. And practical experience in process design such as incident, change and problem.
- Good communication and documentation skills, self-initiative and independence. Able to communicate clearly, precisely, convincingly, and appropriately to the situation.
- Good managerial skills and ability to collaborate with team and stakeholders.
- Good problem solving, analytical, and time management skills and work in a fast-paced environment.
