The position
Digital Solution Translator:
- Assess emerging trends and technologies based on real business situation, analyze and understand the nature of business requirements and pain points by utilizing rich experience of manufacturing, digitalization and LEAN, etc., define appropriate technical solutions to pursuing better user experience.
- Translate epic stories from LoBs into actionable user stories and tasks for cross-function development team, track and update tasks via collaborative board approach by phases according to agile practice and STJ governance process of digital solution.
- Ensure the engagement of LoBs during the entire solution delivery process, aiming for digital maturity growth of both MI team and LoBs.
- Maintain a great learning curve in business process understanding to identify potentials for digital solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the digital space.
Digital Project Implementation:
- According to STJ governance process of digital solution to execute project to secure the delivery commitment while ensure compliance with NN Quality Management System and PS Environmental, Health and Safety Management system.
- Proficient in the STJ Governance Process of digital solutions, collaborate with LoBs and DDIT under the guidance of this process. Providing constructive suggestions for the continuous optimization of the process based on reflections during daily solution implementation in pursuit of deliver business value quickly and efficiently.
- Host regular hierarchy report meetings with stakeholders to update latest project status.
- Lead and drive the virtual development team to commit the ambitious delivery goals, perform a strong skill in analytical thinking and problem solving to remove the barriers to secure the delivery.
Cross function collaboration:
- Proficient in the STJ Governance Process of digital solutions, collaborate with LoBs and DDIT under the guidance of this process. Providing constructive suggestions for the continuous optimization of the process based on reflections during daily solution implementation in pursuit of deliver business value quickly and efficiently.
- Facilitate prioritization forums with LoBs according to the Governance Process, leveraging an in-depth comprehension of LoBs’ requirements and digital technology innovations.
- Communicate the potential risks, benefits, and strategic impact of proposed digital projects, present business cases to executive leadership, highlighting the feasibility and benefits of pursuing digital business opportunities.
- Advocate efficient individual collaboration to minimize documentation work for both LoBs and developers as much as possible. Arrange status reports at appropriate intervals to ensure that key stakeholders and the global network are informed about the progress of the MI solution and to ensure that the delivered product meets business expectations.
Culture fostering of Driving Digital Transformation:
- Drive cultural promotion initiatives of digital transformation upon business requirement.
- Facilitating STJ in WEF lighthouse selection process to contribute the shared goal of digital factory.
Qualifications
- Master/bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other relevant fields
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Additional certifications or advanced degrees in relevant fields may be preferred (i.e., PMP, ACP)
- Rich experience of digital solution implementation and strong understanding of digital disruption trends and emerging technologies.
- Familiarity with supply chain management and manufacturing operations, with practical experience in implementing lean production.
- Deep understanding of the digital project lifecycle especially in agile practice.
- Strong cross-cultural and cross-departmental communication, coordination and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and virtual team leadership skills for project or program.
