Finance Business Partner

Role Purpose

Trusted Finance Business Partner to Commercial and Leadership Teams, driving performance delivery, value‑based decisions, and disciplined execution. Enable short‑term results while supporting the long‑term strategic ambition of the affiliate.


 

Key Accountabilities

Planning & Forecasting

  • Own Anchor Budget (AB), Rolling Estimates (RE), landing‑the‑year, monthly and year‑end close.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional inputs to ensure high‑quality, realistic forecasts aligned with strategic priorities.

Performance Management & Insights

  • Deliver monthly management reporting with clear insights vs. AB/RE and strategic priorities.
  • Track performance, risks, and opportunities; convert insights into clear actions.
  • Proactively follow up with Commercial teams and functions on execution and outcomes.
  • Provide forward‑looking insights to Local LT and Regional stakeholders, linking short‑term performance to long‑term goals.

Finance Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted sparring partner to Commercial, Functions, and LT.
  • Support and challenge business cases and investments, embedding a strong ROI mindset.
  • Drive alignment between financial outcomes, strategy, and execution.

Cost Control & Governance

  • Ensure disciplined cost control and resource allocation aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Uphold financial compliance and HIO standards.
  • Work closely across the Finance team to ensure agility, data accuracy, and end‑to‑end compliance.

Digital Finance

  • Leverage digital finance & BI tools to strengthen insights, transparency, and decision making.
  • Continuously improve finance processes through automation and simplification.

 

 


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4+ years experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Controlling, or similar roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert complexity into clear business insights.
  • Proven stakeholder management and influencing capability across local and regional levels.
  • Solid experience with budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and cost control.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; BI tool experience is a plus.
  • Self‑driven, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple priorities.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese.
