The position
- Draft or review various contracts / contract templates, ensuring the contracts both meet business needs and comply with corporate and local policies and procedures while mitigating legal and compliance risks as well
- Provide guidance, or risk assessment by reviewing or giving professional legal inputs to business teams in terms of transactions, advertising or market promotion programs, clinical research and other initiatives
- Assist local Data Protection Coordinator for data compliance management, data privacy assessment with guidance from global Data Protection team
- Support Local Legal, Ethics & Compliance team in policy and process establishment and simplification on Contract Management, Chop management, inline with global requirement and local regulations or industry code e.g. IRPMA. Deploy legal related awareness campaign or trainings
- Assist the statutory requirements of the legal entity (e.g. change in Board of Directors), maintain corporate licenses, and ensure corporate act and NN Global Approval & Singing principles are compliant. Collaborate internally with other departments, Regional office and externally with government authority and legal counsel
- Manage and carry out process of contract approval process. Provide trainings of relevant guidance and tools to various stakeholders
- Assist in anti-counterfeit relevant measures; provide legal related awareness or training and work with local authorities, and Regional office
Qualifications
- Possess a law degree from Taiwan law school and LLM degree in Taiwan
- Minimum 2 year of experience in legal field, MNC or pharma in-house experience is preferred
- Knowledge in regulations and laws, corporate process, with communication skills and self-awareness. English fluency is required
- Proven working experience in areas, such as contract review, Board of Director / corporate registration, corporate law, commercial contracts drafting & negotiation, data privacy, drug affairs, advertising, fair competition, etc. etc
- Self-motivated, proactive, and can work independently and collaboratively while conducting the above-mentioned tasks
- Comfortable work in fast paced and environment with ambiguity
