This position

1. Manage budget planning, including but not limited to Anchor Budget (AB) and Rolling Estimates (RE).
• Oversee the development and execution of AB and RE processes to ensure accurate financial planning and forecasting.
• Develop dynamic financial models to simplify the planning process and enhance the accuracy
• Consolidate and review departmental budgets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with overall company targets.

2. Provide financial analysis and management reporting.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances, providing insights to support decision-making.
• Prepare and present management reports to local and regional stakeholders, ensuring transparency in performance metrics.

3. Partner with local and global management team to provide financial insights and drive strategic direction for decision-making.
• Collaborate with management teams to align strategies with business objectives and drive value creation.
• Utilize business understanding and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate financial insights and recommendations.

4. Ensure strategic resource allocation and financial compliance.
• Drive strategic resource allocation to support the business growth
• Implement controls to prevent budget overruns and financial discrepancies
• Monitor financial activities to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and compliance with financial integrity.

5. Oversee the FP&A team, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering their development and enhancing their financial acumen.
• Share best practices and innovative approaches to improve team performance and efficiency.

 

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree above in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

2. 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis

3. Solid analytic skill and experience in preparing financial plans with budget management, including sales forecast, demand planning, cost controlling, preferably in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry is a plus

4. 2+ years of people management, leadership development and project management

5. Demonstrated ability to work independently and provide mentorship to juniors.

6. A good team player with strong analysis, interpersonal, and problem-solving skill

7. Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

8. Good communication skills

9. Self-initiated and flexible; works well under pressure of multiple / concurrent and tight deadlines

10. Fluent in English and Chinese
