Key job tasks

 

  • Medical Information Management:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive medical information database, ensuring the accuracy and currency of information.

Respond to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and internal stakeholders in a timely and compliant manner.

Create and update standard response documents (SRDs) and frequently asked questions (FAQs) based on the latest scientific evidence.

Review and approve promotional and non-promotional materials to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.

  • Compliance and Regulatory:

Ensure all medical information activities comply with local and international regulatory requirements and other relevant guidelines.

Conduct regular audits and reviews of medical information processes to ensure ongoing compliance.

Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for medical information and medical related activities.

  • Operations and Process Improvement:

Lead initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of medical information processes.

Implement and manage medical information systems and tools to streamline operations.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to medical information activities.

  • Customer Support:

Provide high-quality customer support to healthcare professionals and patients, addressing their medical information needs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and Pharmacovigilance, to ensure consistent and accurate information dissemination.

Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams on medical information processes and compliance.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Education: Advanced degree in a life science discipline (Master, PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical information, medical affairs, or a related field within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines related to medical information. Familiarity with medical information systems and databases.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in medical writing and review.
  • Leadership: Ability and experience in project management and process improvement.
