The role will be reporting directly to the Director, Clinical Development Centre Oceania. The role will be managing directly a Clinical Operations Manager and Trial managers, and indirectly a dynamic group comprising of, Clinical Research Associates and Assistants which may include other clinical operational roles. The position

As a Therapy Area Head, you will:

  • Lead and manage CDC trial operations for your Therapy Area Team, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables, as well as drive the development of local clinical trial strategies and risk management.
  • Lead stakeholder management and line management, fostering talent development and performance management.
  • Enhance CDC operational efficiency and capabilities through resource management and team utilization, and empower the team to drive continuous improvement and operate with an innovative mindset
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other key partnerships
  • Work cross functionally with numerous medical and clinical teams to deliver clinical trial value

 

Qualifications

  • A degree or higher qualifications in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in clinical trial management and people management. Experience in driving clinical trial strategies is highly desirable.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management and communication.
  • Proficiency in both oral and written English.
