About the department
Novo Nordisk offers a unique opportunity for a science-driven and customer-focused professional to partner with specialists in achieving better patient outcomes with innovative medicines. You will be part of an experienced and diverse Clinical, Medical, and Regulatory team based in Oceania, reporting to the Medical Science Liaison Manager. The position
As a Senior Medical Advisor, you will:
- Develop and execute the Medical Affairs strategy and deploy Medical Science Liaisons effectively.
- Plan and execute medical activities aligned with the strategic plan, and you will also be accountable to lead training and education initiatives internally.
- Offer medical advice for brand and marketing strategies and build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), advocacy groups, and other relevant bodies.
- Stay updated on the therapeutic and clinical landscape and provide therapeutic expert advice internally.
- Review materials for content and compliance.
Qualifications
- MD, BPharm, PhD degree or above in a relevant area. Postgraduate qualifications or experience in the relevant therapy area is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience, with experience in Clinical Development and Clinical Trial management, as well as people and project Management experience.
- Strong expertise in pharmaceutical product development and commercialisation.
- Insight into cross-functional divisions including Clinical Operations, Commercial, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs, with established relationships with KOLs in Endocrinology/Haematology.
- Relevant budgetary responsibility.
