About The Department

As a Product Manager, you will work within a high performing marketing team in the GLP-1 Type 2 Diabetes Business Unit, to deliver on brand plan strategy and tactics, working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver business objectives.   




The Position


In this role, you will be accountable for driving the sales promotion of the brand, developing and optimising new brand initiatives, and working closely with our sales and medical colleagues to implement and execute our campaigns.


You will report directly to the Business Unit – Senior Director.


Specific duties include, but not limited to:


  • Developing and implementing strategic product direction, managing product promotional budgets and projects, and forecasting product revenues
  • Developing sales materials, product brand image & positioning through agency briefings and research programmes, and executing multi-channel engagement initiatives
  • Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders throughout campaign development, developing KOL relationships and KOL programmes, and liaising with APAC, IO and Global Marketing regarding brand initiatives
  • Communicating brand strategy to sales force, providing continuous drive of the sales effort while ensuring compliance with Medicines Australia and NN guidelines in relation to production of marketing materials
  • Engaging with our sales team, including field visits to improve brand execution and customer engagement, and attending key national congresses, symposia, & marketing meetings






  • You completed a tertiary education in either business, marketing, or science
  • You have about 3 years of total pharmaceutical industry experience with 1 to 2 years experience in pharmaceutical marketing or you are an experienced Associate Brand Manager in the pharmaceutical industry ready to step up into a Product Manager role
  • You have solid project management experience with superior communication skills and exceptional business acumen
  • You are a high performer, remarkably detail-oriented and meticulous especially with numbers
