The role will directly be reporting to the Executive Assistant to the General Manager of Oceania.
The position
As Manager of Corporate Strategy, you will lead strategic planning processes across the affiliate. This role requires strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional projects. You will set clear objectives aligned with long-term company goals and collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and regional/global stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery. Other role expectations include:
- Project management of business planning processes: The role involves planning and executing business planning and launch processes with the Management Team as key stakeholders. It requires facilitating communication and cross-functional collaboration in strategy development, driving the affiliate's mid and short-term strategies and monitoring KPIs. You will also gather insights for improvements and prioritise strategic projects to support the business and leading project teams without direct authority.
- Proactive Support to the General Manager: The role also includes supporting the General Manager achieve key deliverables and ensuring up-to-date reporting on activities. You will manage all communications for the General Manager, including preparing and editing presentations, overseeing projects to meet objectives, and represent the General Manager in relevant meetings.
- Stakeholder Management and Facilitation Skills: The role involves planning and executing management team meetings by developing agendas and ensuring follow-up on actions. It requires optimising workshops through strong facilitation skills and effectively presenting to influence leadership decisions. Additionally, proactive communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders are essential for project success, along with coordinating task deliverables with various agencies and consultancies.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or Science. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management. Management consultant experience is an advantage.
- Commercial background with proven abilities in strategy development, market analysis, and execution of commercial projects.
- Affiliate experience/experience with pharmaceutical products is an asset.
- Must either be an Australian Citizen or Permanent resident.
