Learning & Development Business Partner

This exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced L&D Business Partner who is looking for an opportunity to dive in and make an impact.  We work every day to contribute to changing the lives of people with diabetes and other chronic diseases, and your ability to design learning and development programs and workshops with an eye to the resulting improvements in performance and behaviour will be key to your success, and ours.

The opportunity

We are moving to brand new modern offices in North Sydney, close to public transport.  This role reports to the Director, People & Organisation for Oceania and will drive the L&D strategy, and work closely with the HR Director as well as the Commercial Leadership, Medical and Marketing Teams.  Predominately delivering programs that underpin our drive for frontline excellence, the role will also be involved in the creation and curation of e-learning and blended learning programs, guiding our leaders toward training and development of their teams, and be an advisor to leaders and HR on talent and development.

 

Other key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

 

  • Development, curation and delivery of impactful development programs – face to face, blended and online learning options – integrating global and regional programs to local needs;
  • Continuous collaboration with key commercial teams (Business Units, Medical etc.) in order to provide guidance and strategy on capability and skill development;
  • Act as a key advisor to people leaders on development options, and source, develop and present options based on identified capability needs;
  • Ensure measurable outcomes are designed for training programs, and presented in an accessible format for key stakeholders (i.e. increase in sales calls, increase in quality of sales calls etc.);
  • Continuous review and improvement of L&D programs;
  • Design and delivery of onboarding and induction processes;
  • Key design and delivery participant for cycle meetings, new product launches and new clinical data / reports;
  • Coordination of onboarding and large-scale training programs, including materials and assessments.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

To be successful in the role you likely have a degree in psychology, or adult education, with a passion for facilitation and learning, and an obsession with giving people ‘aha’ moments and life-changing insights and development.
