Hybrid Sales Representative

Do you want to be part of an organization focused on changing patient's lives? An exciting opportunity has become available for a GP/Specialist pharmaceutical sales representative to join our sales team on a permanent full-time role, covering the South Western Sydney to South Sydney.

 

About the department

Novo Nordisk Oceania is a high growth business with an exciting product pipeline in our Diabetes portfolio.  In this role you'll work in a tight-knit, well supported team in a business which puts patients at the centre of everything we do.

 

The position is located in the South Sydney and reports to the State Sales Manager for the NSW/ACT region.  You will be part of an experienced and diverse sales team, working closely with marketing to raise awareness of both our products and the therapy area.

 

The position

The successful candidate will be promoting our range of life-changing products and devices to Specialists, General Practitioners, Practice Nurses and Pharmacists based in the South Western Sydney/South Sydney and to Specialists, Nurse Educators and GPs in the country areas of Coffs Harbour and Grafton.  The country territory will require a minimum of 6-8 trips in field per year.

 

Your role will be to develop and implement territory business plans, to make sure our innovative products are able to change the lives of as many patients as possible.  You’ll prospect for new customers and maintain your existing customers in order to drive sales results for our new and existing products.

Experience & Skills

  • We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running with an entrepreneurial flair;
  • Sales experience in a similar role will be highly regarded;
  • Be highly organised and self-motivated;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Confident in your approach and willing to challenge;
  • Ability to make a positive impact, a team player and have a strong will to win.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Life Sciences, Nursing, Paramedical or a business field is preferred.
  • Experience in sales and/or pharmacy is an advantage.
  • Current drivers’ licence
  • Ability to travel, including on country trips and the occasional after-hours and weekend work.
  • You must either be an Australian Citizen or have a current residency Visa to live and work in Australia.
