Hybrid Sales Representative

Do you have the passion to be a part of a company that changes patients’ lives? An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced GP/Hospital pharmaceutical sales representative to join our Insulin sales team in a full-time role.

 

About the department

Novo Nordisk Oceania is a high performing affiliate within a mature pharma market environment.  In this role, you will work in a tight knit, well supported team in a business which puts patients at the centre of everything we do.  You will have the opportunity to liaise with colleagues from the Sales, Marketing, Market Access and Clinical, Medical & Regulatory departments located at Head Office in North Sydney.

 

The territory will cover from the South Sydney to Wollongong and further along the South coast as required, and reports to the State Sales Manager.

 

The position

Your role will be to develop and implement territory business plans and have total business management accountability for the Diabetes portfolio to make sure our innovative products are able to change the lives of as many patients as possible.  You’ll prospect for new customers and maintain your existing customers to drive sales results for our new and existing products.

 The role responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

  • Ensuring territory sales
  • Analysing and diagnosing the territory
  • Developing and executing territory plan
  • Conducting customer contacts
  • Registering customer contact in IO Engage
  • Enlarging the target group of customers by exploring new categories of doctors who use insulin
  • Executing according to marketing strategy
  • Conducting group presentations
  • Organising round tables for customers in line with the marketing strategy
  • Actively monitoring competitors’ activities and reporting directly
  • Executing assigned projects
  • Being part of the onboarding process for new sales employees
  • Managing role administration and ensuring effective, timely utilisation of Expenses, MasterCard, Outlook, IO Engage, Monthly Reports, Speaker and Sponsorship Contracts, Medicines Australia Events Reporting, Medicines Australia Continuing Education Programme, Insulin Sample Request Forms etc
  • Working in accordance with Business Ethics procedures
  • Working in accordance with local law, Novo Nordisk Way and Novo Nordisk policies, quality standards & guidelines

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years demonstrated GP or specialist sales experience within the ethical pharmaceutical industry will be highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Life Sciences, Nursing, Paramedical or a business field is preferred.
  • Current drivers’ license
  • You must either be an Australian Citizen or have a current residency Visa to live and work in Australia.
