About the department
At Novo Nordisk Singapore, our Marketing Team is at the forefront of shaping product strategies and delivering meaningful engagements with healthcare professionals and patients. We work closely with cross-functional teams to drive growth and market leadership for our cardiometabolic portfolio across Singapore and Brunei.
This role reports to the Marketing Head, collaborating with local and regional stakeholders to deliver innovative marketing solutions and omnichannel engagement strategies.

 

The position 
In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our cardiometabolic portfolio by driving strategy, execution, and market presence across Singapore and Brunei. We are looking for a highly skilled professional who brings both expertise and creativity to deliver value and impactful engagements.
Key responsibilities:

  • Design and execute the product marketing plan by conducting in-depth market research, analyzing competitive positioning, aligning with affiliate portfolio strategies, proposing and managing marketing budgets, and developing robust launch and campaign plans including sales force promotional materials. 
  • Communicate marketing strategies and programmes to internal stakeholders by aligning with the sales force, providing practical and motivational product and pre-launch training, consulting with the medical department to ensure consistency in marketing and medical messaging, and regularly providing feedback and performance updates to sales managers and teams. 
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), HCP associations, patient groups, and external agencies; actively participate in congresses, events, and meetings to represent Novo Nordisk and strengthen brand presence. 
  • Orchestrate omni-/multichannel customer engagement by developing targeted content for each customer segment based on adoption ladders and preferences, ensuring consistent messaging through field and back-office collaboration, and leveraging insights from closed-loop engagements to refine strategy in alignment with the Novo Nordisk OCE/MCE ecosystem. 
  • Own patient support programme development and pharmacovigilance responsibilities by initiating, implementing, and monitoring patient-related programmes in coordination with cross-functional teams, reporting adverse events (AE), adverse drug reactions (ADR), and technical complaints (TC) within stipulated timelines, and generating medical insights to support frontliners in building stronger relationships with KOLs and HCPs.

 

Qualifications

  • A relevant academic degree in medical or business disciplines, with an MBA being a strong plus; must demonstrate excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English to communicate effectively across internal and external stakeholders. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with proven success in driving marketing campaigns, executing product launches, handling multi-stakeholder environments, and adapting product strategies to local patient needs. 
  • Minimum 2–3 years of direct experience as a Product Manager, showcasing expertise in strategic brand planning, cross-functional collaboration, campaign development, and delivering measurable business outcomes. 
  • Strong business acumen and deep understanding of competitive focus, brand and portfolio management, and patient and science orientation, combined with stakeholder management skills to manage relationships across all levels. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute omnichannel and multichannel marketing strategies, design customer journeys, generate medical insights, and collaborate with sales, medical, market access, and commercial excellence teams in a dynamic, customer-centric environment.
