Your new role

In this role, you will drive medical strategy, shape advocacy efforts, and be the scientific expert for Novo Nordisk’s Diabetes, Obesity, and Rare Disease portfolios in Singapore. We are seeking a highly motivated professional who brings expertise, leadership, and a passion for improving lives through medical science.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement local medical affairs strategies, supporting product launches and lifecycle activities in alignment with affiliate and regional plans.
  • Build and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), and patient organizations, representing Novo Nordisk at congresses, advisory boards, and key events.
  • Provide medical training and education to internal and external stakeholders, including development of scientific content and ensuring compliance with local guidelines.
  • Oversee non-interventional studies, provide clinical insights for trial planning and site identification, and contribute to publications and medical projects.

 

Your new department

You'll be joining our Medical, Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance team in Singapore – a highly collaborative and agile group that sits at the heart of bringing innovative therapies to patients across the region. This team works seamlessly together to navigate Singapore's progressive yet rigorous regulatory environment, ensuring every product meets the highest standards of safety and efficacy. As a key member of this team, you'll work alongside with commercial, market access, regulatory, and regional teams to drive innovation and deliver solutions that improve patient care.

 

Your Skills & Qualifications

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with demonstrated success in product launches and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong scientific and clinical knowledge in diabetes, obesity, or rare diseases, combined with strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific data into impactful messaging.
  • Ability to manage projects and drive medical initiatives.
