Consumer Activation Lead

Category:  Commercial Marketing
Location:

Singapore, Singapore, SG

Shape how millions of consumers in Singapore think, feel and act on their health. This is a rare opportunity to build the consumer activation engine for a global healthcare leader at a defining moment – where bold storytelling, social-first thinking and data-driven creativity meet a mission that truly matters.

Your new role
As Consumer Activation Lead, you will be at the forefront of developing and delivering integrated consumer and patient-focused activation plans and content strategies that drive awareness, engagement and behavioural change. You will bring direct consumer marketing expertise into a regulated environment, translating complex health topics into narratives that resonate, inspire and move people to act.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Consumer strategy and execution: Tailor centrally provided strategy to the Singapore market through local deep-dives and tactical activation plans – including social discourse analysis, tailored engagement strategies and localised SEO/GEO keywords. Own NovoCare (or equivalent) locally, ensuring compliance and culturally relevant content, and lead end-to-end campaign execution from creative brief through media planning, launch and post-campaign analysis.
  • Content and channel leadership: Lead the creation of high-quality, compliant content across social media, digital ads and other consumer channels to drive social amplification, while supporting budget allocation and monitoring campaign spend for efficient use of resources.
  • Influencer / DOI activation: Be a driving member of the DOI core team, manage the local influencer network and engagements, and stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates and best practices.
  • Consumer & competitive insights: Build a strong analytics and tracking engine – defining KPIs, leveraging market research, real-world data and social listening, and forecasting business impact from reach and engagement to sentiment shift and behaviour change. Adjust activation initiatives based on insights to continuously sharpen content and decisions.
  • Stakeholder management: Partner closely with Marketing, Medical & Regulatory Affairs, Public Affairs and Sales to ensure a coherent engagement approach, liaise with above-market stakeholders on centrally provided guidance, and identify, negotiate and manage external partnerships.

Your new department
You will join the Marketing team in our Singapore affiliate – a close-knit, ambitious group reframing how consumers engage with their health across our therapy areas. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the consumer agenda locally, working at the intersection of strategy, creativity and analytics to deliver activation that truly stands out.

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a consumer-obsessed marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings both creative flair and analytical rigour. To succeed in this role, you will likely have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Marketing or Advertising; an advanced degree or professional certification in Digital Business, Data Science or Strategy is an advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer marketing strategy and tactics, preferably from consumer packaged goods or tech, with proven experience managing creative agencies to deliver excellence. Experience in pharmaceuticals or another highly regulated industry is an advantage.
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex (medical) information into compelling, public-friendly narratives, and a "hard user" social media profile – with native-level understanding of social media algorithms, trends and what makes content perform across platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with digital media execution, proficiency in social analytics and measurement tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics) and ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta), paired with an analytical mindset that uses data to drive decisions and optimise campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate with medical and legal reviewers and articulate results to senior stakeholders. A collaborative team player with agility, strong stakeholder relationships, and a genuine interest in pharma and chronic diseases.
