Associate Director for e-Health Channel

Category:  Digital & IT
Location:

Singapore, Singapore, SG

Are you passionate about accelerating digital health transformation across Asia-Pacific? Do you thrive in environments where building strong networks, scaling proven models, and driving operational excellence create meaningful commercial and patient impact? Join our APAC team to strengthen and expand our eHealth ecosystem, enabling affiliates to deliver consistently high‑performing online selling and digital partnership models.

As a Assoc eHealth Channel Director, you will define and lead the eHealth online channel strategy and performance that elevate eHealth capabilities across APAC.

Your new role

Your responsibilities will include:

Formulate, Negotiate & Scale Strategic eHealth Partnerships:

  • Commercial Integration Strategy: Actively shape and execute APAC’s direct-to-patient commercial strategy to achieve our regional volume through eHealth channels, paving the way for our Vision 2030 goal of delivering online education, scripts, and treatment to >30% of the patient population.
  • Complex Deal Architecture: Lead end-to-end negotiation, customized commercial structuring, and deal closure with Tier 1 partners and digital disruptors (e.g., Eucalyptus/Juniper and MOSH in Australia, Tata 1mg in India, Kakao Healthcare in South Korea, and MICIN/Curon in Japan).
  • Portfolio Lifecycle Scaling: Design plug-and-play partnership frameworks to rapidly scale validated commercial models across growth markets (e.g., expanding successful ANZ setups into Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia). Ensure ecosystem readiness for high-visibility upcoming launches, including the transition into online-focused oral formulations.
  • Deepen collaboration with existing eHealth and online‑selling partners, ensuring strong performance management, commercial impact, and operational reliability.

Cross-Functional Influence & Regional Network Governance:

  • Unified Matrix Leadership: Serve as the primary regional connector across affiliates to align local general managers, business unit heads, and a newly unified regional Medical, Marketing, and Regulatory department behind a shared digital roadmap without direct line authority.
  • Clinical Authority Integration: Champion the integration of global clinical milestones into non-branded partner educational pathways. Shift telehealth HCP messaging protocols from simple weight-loss percentages to long-term cardio-metabolic risk management.
  • Capabilities Facilitation: Lead advanced capability-building sessions, cross-market strategy workshops, and digital maturity standardizations to bridge the gap between rigorous pharmaceutical compliance (TGA, MFDS, DCGI regulations) and frictionless tech-native user experiences.

Data Infrastructure, Funnel Visibility & Optimization:

  • Ecosystem Visibility: Secure deep-tier API and data-sharing agreements with platform partners to stream certified analytics into our regional repository (ATLAS), creating a singular, source of truth for consumer behaviours.
  • Leaky Funnel Troubleshooting: Leverage advanced analytics dashboards to actively audit consumer experiences from triage and medical consultation to cold-chain fulfilment. Identify drop-off points across titration phases and optimize multi-channel interventions to solve patient retention barriers.
  • Exclusivity Enforcement: Proactively implement and govern framework controls regarding partner rebate spend and digital marketing investments (DMI). Negotiate strict exclusivity for brand positioning within partners' corporate wellness programs, digital adherence modules, and virtual care platforms.

Strategic GTM & Business Intelligence:

  • Conduct market assessments to understand digital maturity, platform dynamics, and competitive behaviours across APAC.
  • Identify selective, high‑impact partnership opportunities that complement regional priorities and support long‑term strategy.
  • Support structured evaluation, due diligence, and business case development for new opportunities as needed.
  • AI & Next-Gen Innovation Scouting: Evaluate emerging digital health trends (e.g., AI-driven coaching, connected injection pens, Digital Therapeutics/DTx integrations) to build defensible business cases, conduct thorough due diligence, and present fresh-perspective investment recommendations to executive leadership.

Commercial and financial modelling:

  • Lead commercial and financial modelling to support digital and eHealth partnership strategy across APAC, including scenario modelling, ROI analysis, and value‑creation assessment to inform investment decisions and prioritisation.
  • Translate strategic objectives into robust, decision‑ready models, linking commercial mechanics (pricing, rebates, incentives) to performance outcomes, portfolio impact, and long‑term scalability across markets.
  • Use modelling as an active business tool to support partner negotiations, governance, and optimisation over time, ensuring assumptions are transparent, defensible, and aligned with regional and global objectives.
  • Advanced commercial acumen with the ability to connect strategy, economics, and execution across complex digital and eHealth ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of partnership economics, incentive structures, and value‑sharing mechanisms in platform‑based and digital business models.

Your new department

This role is part of our newly unified Medical and Marketing department, based in Singapore. Operating within this unified department, the Consumer Engagement & eHealth team acts as the regional architecture driving our Omni-channel, consumer engagement, and eHealth business development strategies. We are focused on moving beyond traditional pharmaceutical boundaries to scale high-performing digital partnership models, optimize patient journeys and expand our digital healthcare ecosystem across APAC's dynamic markets.

Your skills & qualifications

  • 10–12 years of experience in digital health, commercial strategy, or transformation; experience in FMCG or high-growth e-commerce (e.g., healthcare start-ups, Amazon, Google, eBay) is highly valued
  • Especially e-commerce/e-health related experiences are essential. Exceptional track record in structuring partnership economics, value-sharing arrangements, and navigating multi-tier rebate governance with complex digital and platform-based business models would be highly important.
  • Advanced capability in commercial and financial modeling, including scenario modeling, ROI analysis, and translating commercial mechanics (pricing, rebates, incentives) into performance outcomes and long-term scalability
  • Comfort utilizing enterprise growth martech architectures (e.g., Adobe Experience Cloud, Google Analytics, closed-loop marketing systems) to diagnose and optimize digital patient journeys
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional projects and influencing without authority in matrix environments, with proven ability to manage long-term digital partnerships and ecosystems
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to translate technical digital metrics into high-impact, decision-ready presentations for C-suite and Executive Leadership Team reviews
  • Acute ability to balance aggressive e-commerce growth strategies with disciplined understanding of cross-border healthcare compliance, direct-to-consumer advertising restrictions, data privacy laws, and anti-counterfeiting protocols
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries is an advantage
