About the department
Novo Nordisk Singapore is a dynamic and fast-paced department in charge of promoting and selling our healthcare products. As an Area Sales Executive, you will be part of a team that represents the organization and builds relationships with healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals, and other public institutions. You will report to Field Sales Manager, Singapore.

 

The position
As an Area Sales Executive at Novo Nordisk, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure territory sales by promoting and selling Novo Nordisk products and services within an assigned geographic area.
  • Analyse and diagnose the territory to identify potential customers, develop effective sales strategies, and execute territory plans to meet revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Conduct customer contacts to provide information on our products, devices, and indications, and register these contacts in IO Engage while maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure consistent follow-up and customer satisfaction.
  • Work according to Business Ethics procedures, local laws, Novo Nordisk Way, and policies.

 

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in science, business, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience within the pharmaceutical industry; more experienced individuals may be considered for Senior Area Sales Executive. Added advantage of having experience in the diabetes therapeutic area.
  • High-performing, independent, and proactive with strong initiative, flexibility, and high adaptability, combined with a high level of service-mindedness.
  • Strong selling skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
