The position

As our Regional Market Access Manager you will contribute to maximize the value of Novo Nordisk business in affiliate by ensuring excellence in Market Access execution and representing Novo Nordisk vision, values and commitments when facing the customer. The position based in Shymkent, the area of responsibilities will be including also Turkestan, Taraz, Kyzylorda.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the market access landscape in the region, monitor healthcare system changes, market trends and dynamics, regional payers’ environment, and decision-making process. Develop insights on local payers and ensure optimal prioritization and segmentation.
  • Participate in the Regional Government working groups and professional pharmaceutical societies to shape Health Care policies at the regional level.
  • Adapt the national market access plan for regional market access based on the regional dynamics.
  • Strengthen and promote Market Access planning tools together with the cross-functional team and ensure their execution. Support engagement with local authorities, payers, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Assess the competitors’ environment and monitor key auctions. Prepare proposals and regional programs/projects to increase market access. 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Medical University degree
  • More than 5 years of experience in sales or regional market access departments as Market Access Manager or Key Account Manager, preferably with an international pharmaceutical manufacturer.
  • Strong understanding of regional healthcare systems.
  • Experience in analyzing complex issues and developing strategic and tactical plans.
  • Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
  • Proven track record of building relationships with healthcare decision makers.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent spoken and written Kazakh and Russian  (English is a plus).
