Novo Nordisk China Open Innovation Centre Lead

In this role, you will obtain

• Deep understanding and involvement into NovoNordisk strategy and company value chain
• Experience to lead or participate in strategic partnership or cross-functional projects
• High visibility in ET and international network

Key responsibilities:

• Lead to establish an open platform for innovation across the full value chain in China, demonstrating strong commitment and unified branding of ONE “Novo Nordisk” in China
• Leverage innovation policies and resource in Shanghai to accelerate innovation, strengthen external collaboration, and support innovation across the ecosystem to drive change to defeat serious chronic diseases
• Explore potential opportunities to expand collaboration and presence of Novo Nordisk China Open Innovation Centre. e.g. establishing an innovation incubator; establishment of the Centre align with the Pudong’s Group Open Innovation policy (GOI)
• Resource Planning and management

Qualifications:

• More than 5 years of relevant work experience and familiarity with healthcare industry
• Solid understanding of healthcare industry environment and strong business acumen
• Experience in business alliance and development, business case and project management
• Experience of running Innovation Center in big pharma is preferred
• Minimum bachelor’s degree, MBA is preferred
• Fluency in both written & spoken English and Mandarin
• Open minded and innovative thinking, and ability to facilitate creative synergy
• Great analytical and strategic thinking, synthesize information quickly and logically
• Superior communication skills to engage cross functional team work together at both global and local level, as well as external stakeholders including local government
• Curious nature with exploring outlook, able to thinks and work independently
• Able to build partnership with both internal and external partners
• Able to travel domestically and internationally based on business request
• Ability to maintain ethical, professional and positive attitude and behavior
