About the department
The Corporate Affairs department at Novo Nordisk is devoted to maintaining and enhancing positive relations with external audiences, including the general public, shareholders, investors, and government entities. Our team is actively involved with the communities in which we operate, addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges while promoting our organization’s image positively. Based in Korea, our department thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere, working collaboratively to advance our business interests and organizational goals.

 

The position
As a Public Affairs Lead, you will:

  • Develop and execute a public affairs stakeholder strategy and action plan aligned with business objectives, mapping, identifying and prioritizing key stakeholder groups with based on company goals and strategy.
  • Build a healthcare ecosystem to drive change and address evolving customer and patient needs by understanding stakeholder challenges and incorporating insights into strategies.
  • Develop innovative solutions and foster long-term, sustainable partnerships with stakeholders, ensuring a mutual value proposition compliant with global and local regulations.
  • Lead and coordinate efforts with the Corporate Affairs team and cross-functional departments, including marketing, medical, and legal, to align strategies and initiatives.
  • Oversee agency management, budgets, and project timelines to ensure the successful execution of all assigned initiatives.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher with 10+ years of experience in public or corporate affairs, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Fluent in English and Korean, with strong communication skills to convey complex messages effectively.
  • Skilled in negotiation, influencing, and delivering results in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience in cross-functional projects, partnerships, and environment shaping, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong collaboration skills in a matrix environment to drive strategic initiatives.
