The Position
The role is expected to develop overall marketing strategies and tactical plans for Premix market, manage product life cycle, and drive execution of marketing strategies. The product scope of this position will be insulin and possibly also GLP1 product depending on business situations. Have good understanding of the Korean DM markets, collect and study market intelligence, manage industry trends, recommend and implement product strategies, and work closely with key stakeholders to drive marketing penetration strategies.
Collaboration with our colleagues in Sales, Medical, Market Access to ensure smooth implementation of marketing plans, sales campaign and product distribution in the field, and lead given tasks and projects.
Position’s key accountabilities:
- To develop overall marketing strategies and tactical plans for Premix market, manage product life cycle, and drive execution of marketing strategies.
- Good understanding of the Korean DM markets, collect and interpret market intelligence, manage industry trends, recommend and implement product strategies, and work closely with key opinion leaders to drive marketing penetration strategies.
- Collaboration with our colleagues in Sales, Medical, Market Access to ensure smooth implementation of marketing plans, sales campaign and product distribution in the field, and lead given tasks and projects.
- Conduct and/or assist the development of strategic marketing plans for new and existing products, including in depth market study, effective market research activities, thought leader development, sales and profit forecasting and pricing strategy etc.
- Execute marketing plans through the cooperation with the sales department, work closely with field sales to ensure marketing programs are implemented and followed up
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing department / Strategy Consulting
- Total 5-10 years of experiences in pharmaceutical industry or related industry like medical devices or healthcare industry
- Experiences at Global pharmaceutical MNC is a plus
- Graduate level degree, i.e. B.A. and/or above
- Fluency in both written & spoken English and Korean
