Your new role
The MCE (Multi‑Channel Engagement) Lead will drive omni‑channel orchestration across the affiliate to gather meaningful multi‑channel engagement data that impacts business outcomes. This role develops non‑personal channel, MCE, and content strategies, localizes global International Operations (IO) initiatives, and leads implementation and operations to enhance customer experience. The incumbent will enable advanced analytics and automation by managing MCE data, collaborating with BI and IO teams, and leveraging Novo Nordisk’s data lake capabilities. Cross‑functional leadership and external partner management are required to deliver scalable, personalized touchpoints and next‑level IO projects.
Other role tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Orchestrate multi-channel engagement for personalization approach: Coordinate with BU directors and the management team to implement MCE initiatives that improve productivity and business impact under brand strategy, drive tactical and strategic MCE activities through cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with business goals and optimal resource allocation (including platform selection, global project implementation and localization, partner selection, simplifying consent and authentication, and channel choice), and lead channel strategy development in alignment with other functions seeking endorsement at APAC/Region IO level.
- Develop MCE, channel and content strategy to drive business impact: Develop MCE strategies with brand, medical and PSP (Patient Support Program) teams to embed multi-channel engagement within overall brand and company strategy; accelerate sales representative productivity and digital adoption via MCE campaigns that promote best practices; continuously refine strategies by monitoring digital engagement data and applying insights; collaborate cross-functionally to create personalized content and solutions; localize applicable consumer-industry solutions to maximize optimal customer touchpoints; and produce high-quality, customized content to attract and engage customers across channels.
- Build infrastructure to access various stakeholders to enhance customer experience: Select the right channels and initiatives together with sales, marketing, medical, patient support and nurse educator teams to improve customer engagement; partner with commercial IT and APAC IO engagement teams to localize infrastructure for optimal engagements; and collaborate with third parties to identify and adapt external infrastructure solutions that best fit the affiliate.
- Execute next-level IO projects related to AI and automation: Lay the foundation for future MCE initiatives aligned with IO—such as Digital Opinion Leader products, Next Best Action, Marketing Campaign Automation, Automated Content Factory, advanced commercial analysis, meta-tagging, and automated healthcare professionals (HCP) profiling—run pilots with cross-functional teams and analyse results for broader affiliate implementation, localize IO-led initiatives with third-party partners for best fit, and benchmark consumer industries and other pharma companies to uncover unique Novo Nordisk approaches.
- Lead data management in MCE to run advanced analytics by utilizing NN data lake Hackathon: Manage data collected through non-personal channels and engage in designing MCE analytics and Novo Nordisk Korea (NNPK) Power BI and Sales IO dashboards; co-work with the Business Intelligence team to perform data analysis and build customer insight-generation tools; conduct content analysis to improve digital assets; initiate a content-factory pilot to organize data for HCP segmentation, targeting, profiling and behavioral insights; and collaborate with Novo Nordisk Headquarters on Hackathon projects to automate NNPK and global data lakes to enable advanced analytics.

Your skills & qualifications
We’re looking for a new Multi-Channel Engagement Lead who will value working in a high-paced, dynamic environment. You’ll bring with you:
- Relevant academic degree in a medical or business field; MBA or MA is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in marketing and/or MCE, with proven pharma industry experience required.
- Experience in consumer industry marketing and/or MCE is preferred.
- Go-to-market consulting experience is an advantage.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
