You will be part of the Obesity Business Unit, located in our Seoul office. Our team is devoted in making a difference in the lives of patients with Obesity. The atmosphere is fast-paced and dynamic, with a strong focus on collaboration and innovation.

 

The position

As a Obesity Cardio Product Manager at Novo Nordisk, over-all you will be in-charge of the design and execution of the product marketing plan, communicate the marketing programme to internal stakeholders and implement campaigns, as well as to maintain and develop relationships with target customers and external stakeholders. Specifications of role expectations are as follows, but is not limited to:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and assess the product’s competitive position, while collaborating with the obesity marketing team to align the cardiovascular indication-based strategy with the Obesity portfolio strategy, strengthening our leadership in obesity. Additionally, design and execute the product marketing plan, ensuring its alignment with the overall planning process to drive successful outcomes.
  • Propose and efficiently manage the product marketing budget, ensuring effective spending to maximize return on investment. Additionally, ensure that an innovative go-to-market strategy is in place and develop product campaigns, including advertising and sales force promotional materials, to drive success and engagement.
  • Actively liaise with HQ and regional teams to ensure clear communication, while also sharing product promotions and plans with the sales force to align with NN strategy. Additionally, drive the implementation of product strategies and campaigns, regularly monitoring key performance indicators and metrics to ensure their effectiveness and alignment with overall goals.
  • Provide practical and motivational product training for sales representatives, ensuring they are well-equipped to promote the product effectively. Additionally, I collaborate with the medical department to align marketing and medical messages, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all communications.
  • Identify and develop relationships with key opinion leaders while maintaining and executing a regular visit plan with target customers in coordination with the obesity team.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of marketing/strategy consulting experience in the pharmaceutical industry are required. Total 10-15 years of experiences will be highly preferred.
  • Experience in marketing of Cardiovascular TA will be a plus.
  • Proven track records in global multi-national pharma companies are required.
  • Graduate level degree, i.e., B.A. and/or above is required.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.
