The Position

As Procurement Lead you will be responsible for leading and supervising all acquisition activities and purchases of goods and services necessary to guarantee the operation of the business. This position requires a combination of leadership and communication skills, negotiation experience, supplier relationship management and analytical skills.

 

Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient acquisition strategies for the company.
  • Develop strategies to drive simplicity around the processes you lead.
  • Identify opportunities for synergy, savings and efficiency in acquisition processes.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to guarantee the best terms and prices.
  • Monitor compliance with contractual agreements and manage relationships with suppliers.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price and reliability criteria.

 

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Fluent oral and written English level.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Procurement or Purchasing roles.
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing management systems: preferably SAP, COUPA, Oracle.
  • Analytical, problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and assimilate data for critical business decisions in a timely manner in the effective management of procurement projects.
