Your new role
As Legal & Compliance Associate Director for Novo Nordisk Chile, you will lead all legal, business ethics, compliance and quality matters for the affiliate. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing pragmatic legal, ethics and compliance advice on commercial activities, contracts, corporate governance, digital health, competition law and emerging risks
- Implementing the Global and International Operations Business Ethics Compliance Plan locally, leading training, risk assessments and internal investigations
- Acting as Data Protection Responsible for Chile, overseeing data mapping, risk assessment, breach response and stakeholder engagement
- Managing litigation strategy, external counsel and the department budget in line with Global Legal guidelines
- Leading and developing a team of two direct reports across legal, compliance and quality, while serving as Head of the Quality department to ensure local and Novo Nordisk standards are met
Your new department
You will join the Chile Legal, Ethics, Compliance & Quality (LEC&Q) department, reporting to the General Manager of Chile and partnering closely with the Chile Management Team and the Leal, Ethics and Compliance leadership community of the Region. It is a high-impact team where your voice matters and where legal and compliance is firmly positioned as a strategic enabler of growth.

- Proven corporate legal experience in multinational environments – pharma or other regulated industries.
- Intermediate to advanced Spanish and professional English.
- Local Chilean legal knowledge is desirable.
- Strong business judgment and the ability to interact with confidence at executive and senior management level, while managing risk in fast-changing, ambiguous contexts
- A pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset – open, flexible and collaborative, with a clear focus on enabling the business and finding the best way forward
