Your new role

As a VP Assistant within Safety Operations (SO), you will play a central role in keeping our area running effectively. You will work closely with the VP and the SO Leadership Team, coordinating key activities and helping drive strategic priorities, clear communication, and strong alignment across global teams.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Organising meetings, including preparing agendas, presentations, and summaries of action points
  • Managing the VP’s calendar, travel coordination, and related administrative tasks
  • Preparing briefings, presentations, and communication material for the VP
  • Updating and maintaining shared platforms and directories, including Teams, SharePoint, and mailing lists
  • Supporting the LoB budget process and follow-up to ensure utilisation is monitored and transparent
  • Coordinating events and seminars, and working with stakeholders to deliver them smoothly across global, regional, and affiliate teams
  • Maintaining a strong ‘house in order’ approach by managing administrative processes efficiently and partnering with assistant colleagues across the GVP area

 

Your new department

You will join the Safety Operations team—a dedicated group of over 400 professionals across Søborg and Bangalore—anchored in the GVP area of Global Patient Safety within the Research & Development organisation.

We are the backbone of Pharmacovigilance (PV) at Novo Nordisk, ensuring efficient and high-quality end-to-end processing of safety cases (adverse events), ultimately supporting effective safety surveillance, regulatory compliance, and patient safety.

 

Your skills & qualifications

As a person, you work well independently and bring a positive, inclusive approach. You are detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to move work forward while maintaining high quality. You also collaborate well with others and adapt easily when priorities shift.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in a similar VP/CVP Assistant role
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, including presentation support
  • The ability to think beyond the immediate and work in a structured, efficient way
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in engaging with multiple stakeholders
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
  • A change-ready mindset with a constructive and solution-focused approach
  • The ability to role model the NN Way in all interactions
  • Strong IT skills, including extensive knowledge of MS applications and NN systems, with regular use of AI tools

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 499,600.00 to 734,400.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

 

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

 

A competitive benefits package is offered, including a pension scheme (currently 13% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution) in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement for Salaried Employees (Industriens Funktionæroverenskomst or “IFO”). Benefits also include a free choice account of currently 10% and 4% holiday allowance.
